Highly motivated and passionately desire to empower and transform the lives of vulnerable children, youth and families reach their full potential and advance their rights, able to shape their own futures and become the source of change to others in the society.

This is because He was once vulnerable at the age of ten years which was too painful when he remembers!  This was due to political ethnic violence in the year 1992 while in Kisumu Kenya. Life was undesirable to me at my youngest age, I saw many people being slaughtered mercilessly and everyone was on the run. Many people were displaced including our family that lost everything i.e. job, business and properties to save life.

Poverty became so severe and chronic to our family. We could not access education, food was a problem, shelter and clothing was a big challenge against our life as a family.

I being the second born in the family of eleven children, my parents had to start from Point zero after they lost everything. We stayed in a Good Samaritan’s home for a month, and then my dad went for a security job of $7dollars salary per month which was partitioned with curtains while my mother went for a housemaid job for $1 dollar per day where she carried the remnants of food for our super/dinner as we survived without lunch and breakfast. We used to pick drops of food on the way and from dustbins in the village to survive.

The situation forced me into child labor to seek for any job in order to assist our family and  I got a job to take care  of cows and sheep for  $3 dollars per month while I worked for one full year, my boss asked me if I could be willing to go back to school and I said yes, he then took me back to school where I had stopped from form one to forth form  where  I sat for my  Kenya certificate of secondary Education(KCSE). I passed with a grade of B- , after that he was not able to take me to the university . I came back to my parents then on Sunday I went to our local church. On that same Sunday also a visiting guest came and he requested to sponsor few children for Education and that is how I was sponsored for my university education.

After my graduation I was employed with “Lake Basin Development Authority” where I begun to support our family, educated my younger brothers and sisters and bought a land for my parents. I passionately began to support few children for education as well as disadvantaged  families, but in 2017 the number of vulnerable children and youth increased , where I  started to raise funds from my friends, well-wishers to continue supporting more children for Education until  the year 2020 when I officially registered  EMPOWERMENT HOPE RESTORATION where many vulnerable families, children and youth can be empowered and Transformed from poverty, illiteracy and injustice.

Friend I request you to join me so that together we can change and transform the lives of many vulnerable families, children and youth who are affected by violence, exploitation, child labors, poverty & injustice and gender discrimination etc.

GOD BLESS YOU MORE AS YOU PARTNER WITH US.
